Returns Policy

 

New items returned for refund or exchange

 

Here's what to do if you have ordered something that's wrong, doesn't fit or you just don't like the colour, taste or whatever (Does not apply to custom made items)

  1. - Please contact us before you make a return (This is very important !)
  2. - Please fill out the returns form and include it with your returned item.
  3. - Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
  4. -  Goods to be returned are returned complete with all packaging in good condition.
  5. - Goods must not be fitted or used.

Custom items are subject to a minimum restocking charge of 25% to cover the handling costs of sending the original item, along with the cost of restocking and processing the return (This charge will appear on your invoice as a handling fee).

Custom built products including Windscreens , Window kits and individual Windows. When we custom make windows for you, they are manufactured specifically for you, and to your exact specification. This means that we are not obliged to accept back custom made items for a refund or exchange unless faulty. Custom manufactured windows or products may be accepted back based on the decision of a director of the company but may incurr up to a 50% charge levied on an exchange or refund, to cover the shipping, and the time and effort absorbed in manufacturing the product.

Plastics 4 Performance are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during fitment or removal of allegedly faulty, faulty (or incorrectly supplied) parts, all parts should be checked before use.

Order cancellation.

You can cancell your order at any time but this will incur a re-stocking fee of 30% of the order value excluding shipping unless the order has not gone into manufacture , basically if we have started production and used materials and time , we will apply the re-stocking fee of 30%  - you can request photographs of the parts made.

 

Faulty, Damaged or Broken Goods

 

All goods purchased from us are coved by a limited warranty. On P4P manufactured windows and components we offer a limited 2yr guarantee against manufacturing defects. Generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, general wear and tear, wrong fixing methods, chemical spillage etc. If you feel that the product you have purchased from us has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs. If the goods need to be returned:-

  1. - Make sure you have contacted us before you return the goods
  2. - Goods to be returned are returned complete with all packaging in good condition. 
  3. - Make sure the product being returned can not cause any harm to whoever unpacks it.
  4. - Please do not return goods that have been involved in any accident, damage by chemical attack, damage by vandalism, damage by incorrect fitment, damage because you don't want them or have not got a returns number or form attached.
  5. - We will usually arrange for collection of faulty, damaged or Broken goods.
  6. - Please inspect the goods on arrival - if the packaging is damaged this must be reported to the carrier immediatly and to Plastics 4 performance within 24hrs (otherwise the carriers will not take responsibility for the damage)
  7. - IF the goods are damaged inside the parcel, please inform Plastics 4 Performance within 24 hrs as it may be a carrier issue that has caused the damage

Please be honest when dealing with us, We will try our best to resolve any problem you have as it is in our interest to have a happy customer!

 

New items returned because we have posted you the wrong part.

 

Believe it or not we do make mistakes on the odd occasion! If we have sent you a part which is different to what is listed on your invoice we will be happy to make an exchange and either collect or pay your shipping costs for returning the item.

  • - Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt.

  • - Where applicable we will arrange full collection of the goods from you, The goods must be wrapped suitably for return to us, Any goods damaged because they were not wrapped correctly will not be accepted back.
  • - Please call or email first before returning goods

 

In Short.

  • - If the goods we supply are wrong we will change them or refund your payment.
  • - If the goods we supply have a defect we will change them or refund your payment.
  • - If you don't like the goods and wish to return them we will refund your payment but we will charge you a fee for restocking these items
  • - For custom made items, unless we supply a wrong or defect part we are under no obligation to accept, exchange or refund payment as these items will have been made specifically for you to your specification or choice, but call first
  • - Where applicable we will arrange full collection of the goods from you, The goods must be wrapped suitably for return to us, Any goods damaged because they were not wrapped correctly will not be accepted back.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels which are undelivered, please retain your proof of postage etc., you may require it on the event of a claim with your carrier
